United Way of Northwest Florida is proud to work with the school districts in all six counties in our footprint on our annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive.  Each summer we partner with WalMarts, local businesses, and volunteers throughout our region on a day to unite our communities in support of our students and teachers. The task is simple, while you're shopping at area WalMarts during the event, grab a pack of pencils, folders, or a notebook or two to Stuff the Bus and fill teacher supply closets in your school district.

Studies show that teachers spend an average of $750+ of their own money each year on classroom supplies and needs. Every year the critical need for supplies grows, while a large majority of our schools and families struggle to provide students with the most basic tools to succeed.

United Way understands this need now more than ever and incorporates volunteerism, community participation, partnerships, and encouragement of the giving spirit to help supply our local classrooms with extra tools. At United Way we believe that no task is too large when we UNITE because together, we go further.
